Web 2.0 Text
In this Adobe Photoshop tutorial you will see how simple it is to make one of those web 2.0 text effect everybody is talking about, actually web 2.0 elements are not much different from all other graphical elements, they basically are build up of some glossiness and shiny effects, maybe even some reflections as you may see in the tutorial.
First off, start by using the text tool and type in the text you want to apply this effect to.
Now right click the text layer in the layers panel and choose rasterize layer.
Double click the layer in the layers panel to get to the styles panel and give it styles as shown below.
Now we want to bend the text so with the text layer still selected and the text tool choose the create warped text tool, and bend the text as shown below.
