Click the apple icon in the top left hand corner of your desktop. Then scroll down and open the system preferences.
In the system preferences click the accounts icon.
Then open the account that you wish to change the password for and click change password.
Finally type in your old password, type in the requested password, and verify your new password. Just in case your forget your new password type in a hint also. Click change password and you are done!
